SHAYLA SZALKOWSKI
A Conversation With a Ladybug
7.13.18
I have been noticing ladybugs all around me over the past month or so, but this lady in particular has visited my room every night this week. So tonight I thought I would read a little more into the symbolism behind them to see if I could figure out what she was trying to tell me.

Ladybugs are here to help. They are known to bring good luck, abundance, and positivity to the one they choose to visit. They come to you in times of change to let you know things will be okay. Their red color provides protection over you like it would a garden, and their black spots are there to remind you to count your blessings - to never take anything or anyone for granted. They want you to look inside your heart and see what and who is in there, and follow your bliss. They are here to listen to your wishes. So after you have reflected on everything with her, tell her your wish. You will see her fly away and you will know she is off to grant it.

Even though things in my life are sort of up in the air right now because of some major changes, these past couple of months have been full of love and light - I had been taking everything in and making sure to not undervalue anyone or any moment. Because before I know it, it could all disappear. Little did I know that little helpers were in my ear helping me with those thoughts along the way. She visited me this week to say her goodbyes, I hope to see her again before more change comes. Remember that even though change is scary, it is good. Change comes to teach you lessons. And once you realize that- you will have peace in knowing that it will work out if you chose to be positive, strong, and above all grateful.
XX, Shay.
